When applied to the wound, it cleans by absorbing fluids, removing pus and debris and forming a gel over the wound surface.
As IODOSORB swells, iodine is released, killing bacteria and changing colour.
Indicated for the treatment of moist wounds including decubitus ulcers and chronic leg ulcers associated with venous disease.
