Minor Ailments & Self Medication

At one time or another, you may suffer from the symptoms of common ailments such as fever, heartburn or constipation. 

In some cases, the symptoms resolve after self treatment with over-the-counter (OTC) medicines or other traditional remedies.

However, simple conditions which initially seem benign may turn complicated despite self treatment.  It is important to know when to stop self-medicating and see a doctor or another health professional.
