Aquacel AG+ Extra dressing is comprised of 2 layers of Hydrofiber Technology stitch bonded together making it 9x stronger and 50% more absorbent than standard Aquacel Ag dressing.
Aquacel AG+ Extra dressing may be used for the management of:
Wounds as a barrier to bacterial penetration of the dressing as this may help reduce infection.
Wounds where there is an infection or an increased risk of infection.
Diabetic foot ulcers (venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers and leg ulcers of mixed aetiology) and pressure ulcers/sores (partial & full thickness).
Surgical wounds
Traumatic wounds
Wounds that are prone to bleeding, such as wounds that have been mechanically or surgically debrided.
Oncology wounds with exudate, such as fungoides-cutaneous tumors, fungating carcinoma, cutaneous metastasis, Kaposi's sarcoma and angiosarcoma.
Wounds where bacteria are a suspected cause of (or a factor in) chronicity/non-progression.
DuoDERM Extra Thin dressing is a hydrocolloid dressing indicated for the management of lightly exuding wounds.
It combines a unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation that distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings and a vapor-permeable outer film to provide an occlusive moist environment.
Designed for the hydration and management of partial and full-thickness wounds such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers.
DuoDERM Gel forms a moist wound environment that is supportive of the healing process by aiding autolytic debridement and allowing non-traumatic removal of the secondary dressing without damaging newly formed tissue.
Mepilex Ag is a version of Mepilex where silver has been added. Silver kills bacteria and might be used both for preventing infection and also on wounds with signs of local infection. Safetac adhesive makes sure that your dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or skin around it. This makes the dressing change as pain free as possible and also makes sure that the skin around your wound stays dry and healthy.
