DirectionsRemove the thermometer from its storage case. The power is automatically switched on and the display will change to show that it is operating normally and ready for use. Wipe off any transpiration fluid and insert the tip (sensor) of the thermometer deeply in the armpit. Keep the thermometer in an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the upper part of the body. Keep the thermometer in place by pressing the upper arm against the body. If the thermometer cannot be in a close contact with the armpit, we recommend the use of an oral thermometer. A beep signal would sound after approximately 30 seconds. Remove the thermometer from the measuring site and read the temperature. The predicted temperature value is shown on the display. This is indicated by the predictive mark "-" above the temperature value on the display. After use, the thermometer must be put back in its storage case. This automatically turns off the thermometer and save battery power. In the event error messages do appear, please refer to the instruction manual for corrective actions
Cautionary InstructionsDispose of the thermometer (and the batteries) according to your national regulations for the disposal of electronic products. Do not self diagnose your condition using the measured result. Consult your doctor for medical treatment. Do not allow children to take their temperature unattended. Do not use the thermometer for measurement in any other site than the intended and do not use it for any other purpose than body temperature measurement.
