    Fever is the temporary increase in the body's temperature due to a disease or illness. Fever helps the body to defend against bacteria and viruses. Common causes of fever are infections, heat stroke, not having enough fluids, medicines or vaccination.

    Dry eye happens when the tears are unable to keep the surface of the eye wet. People with dry eyes may have white or mildly red eye, experience an itchy, sandy, gritty feeling or a feeling that something is in the eye. It may often present with too much tearing at first.

    Allergic conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the layer lining the eyeball and the inside of the eyelids (conjunctiva). This is usually due to an allergic reaction to allergens (something that causes an allergic reaction). Some common allergens include pollen, animal fur, polluted air, smoke and perfume. The common symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis include red and itchy eyes with watery discharge and blurred vision due to too much tearing.

    Nasal congestion, also known as “stuffy nose”, is the blockage of air moving in and out of the nose. The nose becomes congested when the blood vessels at the nose becomes inflamed and swells. Nasal congestion may cause discomfort in the ears and in serious cases, it can affect sleep. Nasal congestion is usually caused by an infection by bacteria or virus and you would usually recover in a week. Nasal congestion can also be caused by allergies, other conditions affecting the structure of your nose, or by using nasal decongestants sprays for too long.
